MCP Tools

Twelve tools, one MCP server

These are the tools Mercopilot exposes over MCP, covering your Shopify store and your Google Ads account. Connect Claude, ChatGPT, or any MCP client and each one becomes a command you can ask in plain English. The four marked Free work with no card and no subscription — everything else needs Professional.

Find your store

Free

Picks up the stores on your account, so you can just say which one you mean.

shops_list

How is my store doing?

Free

The whole picture in one answer: revenue, orders, stock, what is selling, what is not, and where your listings need work.

analysis_snapshot

Where am I losing money?

Free

The sales you are quietly missing — best sellers about to run out, stock sitting still, and listings that put buyers off.

analysis_revenue_leaks

What needs fixing in my catalog?

Which products are missing photos, descriptions, or tags, sorted by how much fixing each one is likely to be worth.

analysis_catalog_optimization

Where is my ad budget going to waste?

Search terms you pay for that never sell, campaigns bringing back less than they cost, and profitable ones held back by their daily budget. Each finding comes with the fix.

analysis_ad_waste

Am I advertising the right products?

Your Google Shopping spend set against your own stock and sales: money going to products that are out of stock or barely moving, and best sellers getting none at all.

analysis_ad_product_fit

Which campaigns do I have?

Lists every active Google Ads campaign with its id, name, status, channel type, and daily budget — so you can pick one to pause, adjust, or add a negative keyword to.

campaigns_list

What should I do next?

A ranked to-do list for your store. Ask for everything, or just revenue, stock, listings, or conversion.

recommendations_growth

What should I put on sale?

Which slow sellers to discount and by how much, based on how far behind each one has fallen and how urgent it is.

recommendations_discounts

Find a product

Free

Look a product up by name or SKU, so you can point at it the way you actually talk about it.

products_search

What can it change?

The full list of changes Mercopilot is able to make, and what each one needs to know first.

actions_list

Make the change

Carries out one change you approved, in your store or in Google Ads: restock, reprice, rewrite a title or description, start a discount, publish a product, block a wasteful search term, pause a campaign, or reset a daily budget.

What is MCP?

A direct connection between your AI and your store.

MCP stands for Model Context Protocol. It is the standard that lets AI assistants like Claude and ChatGPT connect to outside services, so they can look up real information and take actions in real systems instead of just answering from memory.

When you add Mercopilot as an MCP server in your AI client, the assistant gains twelve abilities tied to your Shopify store and your Google Ads account. You ask a question in plain English, the AI picks the right tool, runs it, and the result comes back in the same conversation. You never need to know which tool applies or how to call it.

The connection is authorized using the OAuth 2.1 Authorization Code Flow with PKCE — the same flow your browser uses when you sign in to Mercopilot. No API key to generate or rotate.

Without a connection like this, Claude and ChatGPT are smart but know nothing specific about your business. With Mercopilot connected, they can see your actual products, orders, stock levels, pricing, and ad spend, and help you do something about them.

How it works in practice

You ask. The AI picks the right tool.

You never call a tool by name. Connect Mercopilot once, then ask questions the way you normally would. The AI figures out which tool to use. Here is what that looks like:

  • "How is my store doing this month?"

    analysis_snapshot

Revenue, order count, stock health, and catalog gaps, all in one answer.

  • "Which products should I put on sale?"

    recommendations_discounts

Specific products to discount, with suggested amounts based on how long each has been sitting.

  • "Which Google Ads campaigns are losing me money?"

    analysis_ad_waste

Campaigns below your target return, search terms you pay for that never sell, and the fix for each.

  • "Am I spending on products that are out of stock?"

    analysis_ad_product_fit

Shopping spend matched to your own inventory, so you see what to restock and what to pull from the feed.

  • "What's wrong with my product pages?"

    analysis_catalog_optimization

Which listings are incomplete, which ones to fix first, and what each fix could be worth.

  • "Restock the Trail Runner 2 to 100 units."

    actions_execute

The change is made in your Shopify store once you confirm. You see the updated stock immediately.

Ready to connect? The setup takes about five minutes.

Stop asking “how many orders did I get?” Start asking what to fix first

Connect Shopify and Google Ads and see where the money is going — the best seller about to run out, the stock that has stopped moving, the search terms you pay for that never sell. Every fix comes with what it's worth, and getting it done is one word away.

  • See the biggest wins first
  • Finds it, then fixes it for you
  • Catch lost sales before they happen
