What is MCP?

A direct connection between your AI and your store.

MCP stands for Model Context Protocol. It is the standard that lets AI assistants like Claude and ChatGPT connect to outside services, so they can look up real information and take actions in real systems instead of just answering from memory.

When you add Mercopilot as an MCP server in your AI client, the assistant gains nine abilities tied to your Shopify store.
