MCP Tools
These are the tools Mercopilot exposes over MCP. Connect Claude, ChatGPT, or any MCP client and each one becomes a command you can ask in plain English.
Picks up the stores on your account, so you can just say which one you mean.
shops_listThe whole picture in one answer: revenue, orders, stock, what is selling, what is not, and where your listings need work.
analysis_snapshotThe sales you are quietly missing — best sellers about to run out, stock sitting still, and listings that put buyers off.
analysis_revenue_leaksWhich products are missing photos, descriptions, or tags, sorted by how much fixing each one is likely to be worth.
analysis_catalog_optimizationA ranked to-do list for your store. Ask for everything, or just revenue, stock, listings, or conversion.
recommendations_growthWhich slow sellers to discount and by how much, based on how far behind each one has fallen and how urgent it is.
recommendations_discountsLook a product up by name or SKU, so you can point at it the way you actually talk about it.
products_searchThe full list of changes Mercopilot is able to make, and what each one needs to know first.
actions_listCarries out one change you approved: restock, reprice, rewrite a title or description, start a discount, or put a product live.
actions_executeWhat is MCP?
MCP stands for Model Context Protocol. It is the standard that lets AI assistants like Claude and ChatGPT connect to outside services, so they can look up real information and take actions in real systems instead of just answering from memory.
When you add Mercopilot as an MCP server in your AI client, the assistant gains nine abilities tied to your Shopify store. You ask a question in plain English, the AI picks the right tool, runs it, and the result comes back in the same conversation. You never need to know which tool applies or how to call it.
Without a connection like this, Claude and ChatGPT are smart but know nothing specific about your business. With Mercopilot connected, they can see your actual products, orders, stock levels, and pricing, and help you do something about them.
How it works in practice
You never call a tool by name. Connect Mercopilot once, then ask questions the way you normally would. The AI figures out which tool to use. Here is what that looks like:
"How is my store doing this month?"
analysis_snapshotRevenue, order count, stock health, and catalog gaps, all in one answer.
"Which products should I put on sale?"
recommendations_discountsSpecific products to discount, with suggested amounts based on how long each has been sitting.
"What's wrong with my product pages?"
analysis_catalog_optimizationWhich listings are incomplete, which ones to fix first, and what each fix could be worth.
"Restock the Trail Runner 2 to 100 units."
actions_executeThe change is made in your Shopify store once you confirm. You see the updated stock immediately.
Ready to connect? The setup takes about five minutes.
Connect Shopify and see where the money is going — the best seller about to run out, the stock that has stopped moving, the listings costing you the sale. Every fix comes with what it's worth, and getting it done is one word away.
